Optimus Via — Boutique Consultancy Website

Website rebuild for Optimus Via, a Rome-based management consultancy I'm working with. Now on Next.js with Sanity CMS so the team publishes their own content. Pages stay fast through ISR, analytics respect cookie consent, and the contact form handles its own spam filtering.

Key features

  • Sanity CMS with custom schemas for articles, case studies, team members, and categories. The client manages all content on their own
  • Cookie consent that actually works: GA4 and GTM don't load until someone clicks accept. Revoking consent kills the scripts and clears cookies immediately
  • Privacy page with a live toggle to change consent preferences at any time
  • Contact form with Cloudflare Turnstile (invisible CAPTCHA) and branded HTML emails via Resend
  • Scroll-triggered animations with staggered timing, built on IntersectionObserver and custom cubic-bezier easing
  • Incremental Static Regeneration: edits in Sanity appear on the live site within 30 minutes, no redeploy needed
  • Mobile-first responsive layout with hamburger nav and touch-friendly form inputs
  • Two analytics layers: anonymous always on, GA4 only loads after consent
  • Semantic HTML with ARIA labels and focus-visible states. Everything works with a keyboard

About the project

Optimus Via is a five-partner management consultancy in Rome that helps European startups and SMEs break into the US market. They were on Squarespace and needed something they could actually update themselves, whether that's publishing articles, adding case studies, or editing team bios, without calling a developer. I rebuilt the site on Next.js with Sanity CMS as the backend. The team writes in Sanity's editor, hits publish, and content goes live within 30 minutes through ISR. No rebuild, no deploy. Analytics was the tricky part because they work across EU and US markets. Google Analytics only fires after someone explicitly accepts cookies, and there's a toggle on the privacy page to revoke consent whenever. Vercel Analytics runs separately (cookieless), so they always have baseline traffic data even if visitors decline. Contact form sends branded HTML emails through Resend, with Cloudflare Turnstile handling bot traffic invisibly.
