Going Solo: Why I'm Jumping into Entrepreneurship Now

(The picture is AI-generated. It's so easy to get an image of a bald, bearded software developer with eyeglasses from image generators. I suppose I'm the stereotype 😂. You will probably see more use of it in the blog.)
So, I'm changing my job. I'm starting to work as an entrepreneur.
Why? I think it makes sense to do it now, especially with the IT landscape changing so rapidly due to AI. Also, because of my wife's job, I'm traveling a lot. I've always had ideas for projects and services, and I feel bad about not pursuing them. Thinking about the future, building a digital product and service to sell online seems like the right choice.
I will still be consulting for my existing clients on ongoing projects, but I want to focus most of my time on creating value for myself. I really need a meritocratic environment where the more effort I put in, the more I get out of it. Often, being an employee doesn't feel like a fair trade.
I'll be staying mainly in Bangkok, always seeking ideas, new connections, and maybe partners.
Wish me luck!
